Sleeping on a string of floors
Hard enough being your own editor
You want everything, everything, everything, everything
And every nerve perverted and raw
You’ve been working every side of the law
Can’t remember, remember, remember, remember what for
Counting on it working despite
Being aware you’re being quaint, if not trite
Not seeing any sing, any sing, any sing
Any single reason to believe you were right
Ooh, you thought you wrapped it up nice and tight
It’s unraveling-raveling-raveling-raveling tonight
You’re in doubt
Human doubt
Go to school, go to work
You need this whole thing like a hole in the head
And you never, no, never, no, never, no, never, no
Read the comments right before you go to bed
Crying while you’re handing your sword
To Anonymous @ 1:34
It’s a trap, it’s a trap, it’s a trap, it’s a trap, it’s a door?
You’re in doubt
Human doubt

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
